Fixing Common Issues - iOS

 

Some common issues are:

  1. If it your device is saying there is no internet connection and you are using an iPhone (or an iPad with a SIM card) then it is more than likely that you have not allowed the CSK App to use mobile data. In iOS go to the Settings app, select Mobile Data and scroll down the page until you find CSK. Make sure it is turned on. If it is already turned on then this is a known problem with iOS. What you will need to do is to turn it off, then stop the CSK App running (you do this by double-clicking the Home button, swipe left and right until you find the CSK App and then swipe the App upwards) then swipe left and right again to return to Mobile Data and switch Mobile Data back on for the CSK App. When you restart the app then it might ask you to confirm you are using mobile data but either way it should all now be working OK. We have not come across this problem with Android yet but if you do then the fix will be something similar.
  2. If there are really weird things happening (sorry for the vagueness) then it can be that the database on the device has become corrupt. All you need to do is to delete the App from the device (if iOS tap and hold on the icon until it starts wobbling then tap the small x - if you are using Android then Google how to do this as it varies between Android releases) and then re-install the App from the iTunes Store or Play Store - yo won't be charged again.
